An idea brewed right here in Los Angeles

The Boketto story began in 2016 when our founder Benjamin Westley made a serendipitous turn into the world of coffee. At the time, Ben was a new father, and had started a new job as the concierge at the Collection Building in downtown Los Angeles. He noticed tenants in the building heading out often for coffee, and came up with the idea of getting an espresso cart for the building. With a bit of help from the building owner and a tenant, Ben puts together the cart.

Soon, one thing leads to another, and Ben finds himself researching drink options for a kegerator at a coworking space. That’s when he stumbles upon cold brews. However, with all the options available in the market being expensive, Ben decides to teach himself how to brew, and makes the first batch of cold brews in a small office kitchenette. Over time, the popularity of his cold brew grows, and restaurants in the same building are asking him for kegs of the good stuff. That’s how Boketto Cold Brew was born.

Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to include artisanal tea, individual cold brew pouches, kegerators for hire, and baristas for events. Through it all, our goal remains the same: to provide Los Angeles with delicious, affordable beverages.
